Compra compra literally translates to english as "buy, buy." 

When we use it the capoeira context, it means to have games of capoeira constantly going with players coming and going like someone cutting in to dance with someone else on the dance floor.  The players don't start and finish a game from the berimbau.  The games are essentially ongoing.
