Pé do berimbau literally translates to "foot of the berimbau."
We are familiar with this kind of saying in english, and it is what you are likely thinking and the pictures above show. It's the place where two people squat down to in front of the berimbau and other instruments of the bateria to begin a capoeira game in the roda.
The game begins as soon as you squat down at the pé do berimbau, not that you enter the roda and go play immediately, but rather anything can happen. You have to be ready, and show you are aware.
